In the third quarter of 2025, the word puzzle game category on iOS in Italy saw interesting trends across the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Weekly downloads saw a notable increase, peaking at around 14.4K in early September before dropping to 3.3K by the end of the month. Revenue demonstrated a similar pattern, reaching a high of approximately $185 in the same period. Active users also showed growth, starting at around 9.8K and reaching a high of 17.2K.

Crossword Master - Word Puzzle maintained consistent revenue early in the quarter, with a peak of $250 in mid-August. However, downloads and active users began to decline after July, with downloads falling from 10.4K to 3.7K, and active users decreasing from 58.5K to 40.6K by mid-September.
